What does it cost to sell my stuff with Sell It Now?
There are no upfront costs to you, the seller. We do not charge any listing fees. Our commission is based on the selling price of your item. Once your item has sold, we will deduct our commission and then mail you a check for your proceeds. While traditional consignment stores generally offer sellers 50% of the sales price, sellers receive 60-65% using Sell It Now.
How do I get my items to Sell It Now?
We serve the tri-county area of Livingston, Oakland and Washtenaw. As long as your item(s) are valued at a minimum of $75, Sell It Now will arrange for pick-up at your home or business. We will work with you to arrange a convenient pick-up time, 7 days/week. If you have an item (or group of items) with a total value of less than $75, you have the option of dropping off your item(s) in Brighton.
Your items should be in clean, gently used condition. All parts must be included and everything must be in working order. We are willing to do surface cleaning of smudges and mild dust, but please take a few minutes to clean your own items before pick-up. The better the condition, the higher the market value will be.
If your item(s) require batteries, please include them if possible. We will need to test all items at the time of pick up. In addition, buyers find items more appealing if batteries are included at the time of purchase. If you prefer for Sell It Now to provide batteries for your item(s), we are happy to do so for a nominal fee.
Sell It Now does not provide containers for transport of smaller items, and we do not haul items or containers up/down stairs.

Where is Sell It Now located?
Our home business is located in downtown Brighton, Michigan. We sell most items through online classified sites that serve our local market, such as craigslist, Oodle and eBay Classifieds. Some items are sold via auction sites, such as eBay.
When will I get paid?
Once your item has sold, you will receive a check within 7 business days. If you are selling multiple items, Sell It Now will keep a tally and send you one check every 15 days for the items that have sold. For example, if 3 of your items have sold within that 15 day period, you will receive one check for the total proceeds. If, in the subsequent 15 days, another 4 items sell, you will receive a second check for the total of those items. And so forth until the 60 day consignment deadline.
What happens to my stuff after 60 days?
If your items have not sold within the 60 day consignment period, you have the option of picking them up in Brighton, Michigan within 7 business days, unless other arrangements have been made. If you choose not to pick them up or if we do not hear from you, we will donate your items to a local charity.
